PETALING JAYA: Nine years, almost 200,000 tonnes of displacement and half a world separate them, but a 13.7m (45ft) barge wedged in a narrow English canal has become a social media darling in the wake of the MV Ever Given incident.
Social media users could not help but make humorous comparisons of the barge stuck in a narrow canal in Cambridgeshire, England, to the MV Ever Given which caused losses in the billions after the mega-container vessel blocked the Suez Canal recently.
