JOHOR BARU: A revival of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project should be considered as it is an important element of the connectivity needed to spur economic development in Malaysia, a top Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) official says.
IRDA CEO Datuk Ismail Ibrahim said the HSR could also conceivably be extended beyond the initial scope of the project to improve connectivity throughout the peninsula.
