REMBAU (Bernama): The uniqueness of the 183-year-old pulpit or mimbar of Masjid Kariah Nerasau here proves that the superiority of Islam in this country has been long-preserved, says Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris's Dr Harleny Abd Arif (pic).
The head of the Art and Design Department at the University's Computer and Creative Industries Faculty said that the wooden pulpit carved by Baba Husin of Jepara in Central Java, Indonesia has a complete inscription, which makes it different from the other pulpits in her previous study.
