KUALA LUMPUR: A parliamentary committee should convene to investigate allegations of a cartel within the police force as well as the alleged culture of taking money in the law enforcement body, said the G25 group of eminent Malays.
“Malaysia should emulate the practice in other democracies to initiate parliamentary inquiries for the purpose of determining the truth, as well as to set the guidelines to ensure trust and confidence in the system of governance in the country, ” the group said in a statement yesterday.
