JOHOR BARU: The police have arrested two individuals here for extorting RM5,000 from a couple who were recently released from prison.
Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said the 56-year-old victim and her husband were released from prison on Thursday (March 18) and taken to a restaurant where they were forced to pay the suspects RM5,000 to "settle their case".
