PETALING JAYA: The government’s clarification on the categorisation of fines for standard operating procedure (SOP) violations is good, but enforcement needs to be improved to ensure the public believes it is done in a fair and transparent manner, says MCA Youth.
Its spokesman Alex Fong said they appreciated the government’s willingness to listen to feedback over the controversial maximum RM10,000 fine for SOP violations.
