GEORGE TOWN: In light of recent cases detected among pupils in a primary school in Penang, the state government is urging the Education Ministry to consider the closure of schools with active Covid-19 cases.
State local government, housing, town and country planning committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said it is important for the Education Ministry to step in and make it clear that the situation will be taken care of.
