Seremban and Jempol consumers to face 24-hour water cut on March 23

SEREMBAN: Water supply to several parts of Seremban and Jempol will be temporarily disrupted on March 23 for maintenance and pipe replacement works by Syarikat Air Negri Sembilan (Sains).

Sains public affairs head Norzita Ismail said consumers should expect a 24-hour disruption from 8am on the day.

The affected areas in Seremban will include Batu 6 to Batu 10 Pantai, Lake Gardens, Kg Bukit Merbah, Sikamat Army Camp, Tmn Cermai, Tmn England, Tmn Penaga, Tmn Coral, Tmn Seri Inai, Tmn Sikamat Utama, Tmn Akasia, Tmn Seri Pandan, Tmn Ampangan Jaya, Sikamat Chinese New Village, Pulai Impian, Pulai 1,2 and 3, Tmn Temiang Jaya, Tmn Suliana, Tmn Perwira, Kg Jijan, Kg LBJ and Bandar Penddikan Enstek in Nilai.

In Jempol, the affected areas are Tmn Satelite, Tmn Tunku Puan Chik, Tmn Serting Jaya, Tmn Jati, Tmn Casuarina, Kg Gajah Mati, Batu Kikir town, Rumah Rakyat Batu Kikir 1,2 and 3, Taman Sri Alam 1 and 2, Tmn Zamrud, Kg Jawa, Serting Ulu, Bahau, Kg Batu Bakar, Bahau Industrial Area, Tmn Margosa, Tmn Megah, Tmn Mahsan, Mahsan Chinese New Village, Feldajaya, Gatco, Ladang Geddes, IOI Mahsan, Felcra Rompin, Rompin, Felda Lui Barat, Felda Lui Selatan, Felda Lui Muda, Felda Lui Timur, Felda Sg Lui and surrounding areas.

Norzita said the maintenance works, including the installation of electromagnetic flow meters, were necessary for the state water concessionaire to continue providing quality drinking water.
