Carpenter loses life savings in investment scam

JOHOR BARU: A 49-year-old carpenter lost his life savings in the blink of an eye after falling prey to an investment scam here.

Sher Mun Keong said he was caught in the mess after befriending a woman on Facebook who claimed to be a beautician working in Kuala Lumpur.
