GOPENG: A wooden mimbar dating to 1905 and believed to be created by a well-known sculptor, the late Megat Ja’afar, is being kept in good condition at Masjid Ahmadiah Kampung Kepayang.
The structure is a short flight of steps used as a platform by a preacher in a mosque.
