AMPANG: Police are looking for a woman who allegedly rammed two motorcycles with her car in Bukit Antarabangsa here on Monday (March 15).

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the 52-year-woman is believed to have been driving under the influence of alcohol during the incident, which took place at 12.41am. Video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

"Initial investigation revealed that the woman was driving home when she accidentally rammed her car into a Yahama Avantis and a Harley Davidson motorcycle parked at the side the road.

"The Yamaha rider was helping the other rider, whose motorcycle had broken down," he said when contacted on Tuesday (March 16).

The woman stopped her vehicle after the accident, he added.

"One of the riders used his phone to record a video of the woman after she refused to cooperate.

"She then sped off, leaving the scene," ACP Mohamad Farouk said, adding that efforts to track down the driver are ongoing.

Both motorcycles were damaged but no injuries were reported.

Those with information should come to Ampang Jaya Traffic police station or contact the nearest police station.
