KUALA LUMPUR: Umno’s lawyer has argued that the prosecution had failed to prove that the millions in cash seized from Pavilion Residences in 2018 was linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
Lawyer Datuk Hariharan Tara Singh, who is representing third party Umno, said there was no evidence before the court of the nexus between monies allegedly misappropriated from 1MDB and the RM114mil in cash seized by the police from Pavilion Residences.
