According to Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, both clusters – the Jalan Mega Cemerlang cluster in Johor and Jalan Pria cluster in Kuala Lumpur – were workplace related.

He said the Jalan Mega Cemerlang cluster involved a family and workers at a food manufacturing company at Jalan Mega 1/6, Taman Perindustrian Nusa Cemerlang, Nusajaya.

There were 19 positive Covid-19 cases detected after 54 individuals were screened as of March 19, said Dr Noor Hisham in a statement on Saturday (March 13).

He said the Jalan Pria cluster in Kuala Lumpur was from the Titiwangsa and Cheras districts.

"This cluster involved a child care centre at Jalan Pria 4, Taman Maluri," he added.

He said 10 individuals were found positive after 37 individuals were screened as of March 13.

Meanwhile, Dr Noor Hisham said there are a total of 426 active clusters with 52 recording new positive Covid-19 cases.

The clusters that recorded the highest increase were the Jalan Salak construction site (73), Lintang Bayan Lepas (56) and Tembok Tapak (49), he said.
