Penang CM gets Covid-19 jab

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has received his Covid-19 vaccine.

Chow, who is the first person in Penang to receive the vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, received his jab at about 10.15am at the Penang General Hospital on Sunday (Feb 28).

The process by two nurses only took five minutes to complete.

Next in line will be his two deputies - DCM l Datuk Ahmad Zakiyuddin Abdul Rahman and DCM ll Dr P. Ramasamy.

Sharing the same session will be state secretary Datuk Abdul Razak Jaafar, state Health Department director Datuk Dr Asmayani Khalib and state police chief Datuk Sahabudin Abdul Manan.
