KUALA TERENGGANU: A male Malayan tiger was captured at an oil palm plantation in Felda Kerteh 3, near Dungun, said the Terengganu Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan).
The male tiger, estimated to be between 14 and 16 years old and weighing over 160 kg, was successfully caught after being shot with a tranquilliser dart, said the National Wildlife Rescue Centre (NWRC) senior wildlife assistant officer Nik Mohd Zamani Awang.
