Covid-19: S'wak needs to vaccinate almost everyone above 18-years-old to achieve herd immunity, says Minister

KUCHING: Sarawak needs to vaccinate almost everyone above 18 years in the state in order to achieve herd immunity against Covid-19, says Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian.

Dr Sim, who oversees public health, said this is because about 30% of the state's population is below 18 years old, while the target for herd immunity is vaccinating 70% of the population.
