Father of five to be charged with allegedly raping 14-year-old daughter, friend

KLANG: A 42-year-old father of five will be charged at the Klang court on Wednesday (Feb 24) with allegedly raping his daughter and her friend.

According to Klang police, the man had been allegedly raping his 14-year-old daughter since she was 10 years old.

His allegedly dirty deed came into the open after his daughter’s friend, whom he is also accused of raping, lodged a report against him at the South Klang district police headquarters.

Learning that her friend had lodged a report against her father over his allegedly dastardly act, the daughter followed suit and lodged a subsequent report at the same police station.

South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Shamsul Amar Ramli said the man was arrested on Feb 10 and was still under remand.

“He will be charged at the Klang court tomorrow (Feb 24) and is facing 67 charges," ACP Shamsul Amar said.

According to the report lodged by the daughter’s friend, the man had asked her to accompany him to a house in Klang on Jan 7 this year at about 3pm.

Once there, he pushed her onto a bed, pulled down her underwear and raped her.

He also told her to not tell anyone about the incident but the girl narrated it to one of her friends, who in turn relayed it to the alleged victim’s mother.

The alleged victim was then brought to the police station and the report lodged.

Upon hearing this, the daughter also lodged a report that the man had also, some time in January this year, entered her room at 7am and allegedly raped her.

The girl also revealed that her father had been violating her since she was 10 years old.

Both the victims were classmates and also worked at the man’s sugarcane juice stall.
