Sibu motorcyclist rescued by authorities after falling into pit

SIBU: A motorcyclist escaped with no serious injury after he fell into a 10-foot deep pit along Jalan Lanang here on Sunday (Feb 20).

The State Fire and Rescue Services Department said in its daily update that the victim - Steward Minggu - lost control of the bike and went straight down into the pit, which had been dug in the middle of the road for piling work.
