PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has another 2,936 cases of Covid-19 on Friday (Feb 19), the Health Ministry reported.
In his daily Covid-19 updates, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said 13 more people died while 4,889 patients were discharged in the same time span.
Since the start of the pandemic, the country has now seen 277,811 Covid-19 infections and 239,971 recoveries.
Malaysia’s Covid-19 death toll is now up to 1,043.
There are currently 36,797 active Covid-19 cases nationwide, of which 220 are under intensive care, with 104 on ventilator support
