Sibu cops nab 11, including woman, for allegedly assaulting, wrongfully confining man over debt


SIBU: Eleven people, including a woman, have been arrested for allegedly assaulting and wrongfully confining a man over a debt of RM19,000.

Sibu deputy OCPD Supt Collin Babat said the case came to light on Feb 16, when a 29-year old housewife received a call from a suspect, telling her that they had detained her brother-in-law for failing to settle his debt of RM19,000.
