Covid-19: 2,998 new cases, 22 more deaths bring total fatalities to 1,005


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,998 Covid-19 cases, on Wednesday (Feb 17), bringing the cumulative total to 272,163.

In the same 24-hour period, there were 22 fatalities, bringing the death toll to 1,005.

There were also 5,709 recoveries, which means 227,762 have recovered from the disease nationwide.

There are still 231 patients in intensive care units, with 115 requiring ventilation support.
