KUALA TERENGGANU (Bernama): PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang is warded in hospital after experiencing shortness of breath and is in a stable condition, says his son Muhammad Khalil.

"I have just spoken to my father. His condition is stable and he needs rest. He must have been very tired due to his hectic schedule. Please pray that he remains healthy to serve the ummah," said the Batu Buruk assemblyman in a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday (Feb 16)

Earlier, UMNO president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said in a post on his Facebook page that Abdul Hadi was admitted to the Putrajaya Hospital on Monday (Feb 15) after he was reported to have shortness of breath and was then transferred to the National Heart Institute (IJN) for further treatment.
