PETALING JAYA: Celebrating Chinese New Year in the new normal means that certain sacrifices have to be made, says Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
"That is the reality of our new normal as this year's celebration has some constraints due to the need to follow strict standard operating procedures (SOP).
"Help the frontliners who have sacrificed so much for our country by following the SOP every day. Fighting Covid-19 is our collective responsibility," he said in a Facebook post on Thursday (Feb 11).
Dr Wee also advised road users to be responsible and to always obey the traffic laws.
"May this new year bring strength, success and courage to all of us and to this country that we love," he added.
