Over 1,000 in relief centres from floods in Sarawak

KUCHING: More than 1,000 people were evacuated from their homes as floods hit parts of Sarawak following continuous rain.

The state disaster management committee said 18 temporary relief centres had been opened in four districts, sheltering 1,056 evacuees from 340 families at 4pm yesterday.
