200 deities ‘sent off’ in simple but meaningful ritual

PONTIAN: The “sending-off” ritual of some 200 deities at a temple here was performed in a simple yet meaningful manner.

Caretaker of the temple here in Ulu Choh, Kong Fook Peng, 65, said the temple would be visited by between 2,000 and 3,000 devotees on the special occasion.
