Covid-19: Penang IRB office closed for sanitisation

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Inland Revenue Board (IRB) office in Beach Street here will be closed for Covid-19 sanitisation from Friday to Sunday (Feb 5 to 7).

The board said in a statement that during the closure, taxpayers may perform transactions online at

Alternatively, they may visit the nearest IRB office at the Urban Transformation Centre on Level 2, Komtar, or the office in Bukit Mertajam.

The statement added that all taxpayers are reminded to adhere strictly to Covid-19 standard operating procedure when visiting the IRB office.

The Beach Street office will resume operations on Monday (Feb 8).
