Food baskets sent to M’sian workers stranded in S’pore


SINGAPURA, 2 Feb -- Pemangku Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Malaysia ke Singapura, Muhammad Radzi Jamaludin (kanan) menyerahkan bantuan kepada Ketua Sukarelawan, Shahruddin Haeal Helmy Mohd Noh (kiri) semasa majlis penyerahan Misi Bantuan Bakul Makanan kepada pekerja Malaysia hari ini. Kerajaan Johor selesai melakukan penghantaran 1,000 bakul makanan ke Singapura seperti yang dijanjikan sebagai sebahagian daripada Misi Bantuan Bakul Makanan kepada pekerja Malaysia. Ia dilakukan dalam tiga fasa dengan kumpulan terakhir kira-kira 270 bakul makanan diedarkan pada 30 Jan oleh sekumpulan sukarelawan dalam kalangan pekerja Malaysia sendiri. SINGAPORE: A total of 1,000 food baskets have been distributed as part of the Johor government Food Basket Aid Mission to Malaysian workers in Singapore.

The distribution were done in three phases with the last batch of about 270 delivered on Saturday by a group of volunteers from among Malaysian workers themselves.
