Engage with the public, govt urged

PETALING JAYA: Increasing public confidence in vaccines and focus on society’s most vulnerable should be among government priorities before the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine in a month’s time, says the Malaysian Health Coalition.

To date, it said, they have yet to see a coordinated, government-led effort to boost vaccine confidence, while anti-vaccine narratives, conspiracy theories and false information are running rampant on social media and in chat groups.
