Drug pusher nabbed after cops raided his home in Ampang

AMPANG: A 32-year-old man, believed to be a drug pusher, was detained following a raid at his home in Taman Maju Jaya here.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said police raided the suspect's home and arrested him at about 6.30am on Wednesday (Jan 27).

"We seized 225g of syabu, 80 Eramin 5 pills, 15 ecstasy pills, and 17 Yaba pills.

"We also seized a weighing machine, mobile phones of various brands and tools," he said when contacted on Thursday (Jan 28).

Initial investigations revealed that the suspect sold the drugs by delivering it to his customers, he added.

"We believe he has been active for 10 years in catering to customers in Kuala Lumpur.

"He has several police records for various offences including theft, house break-ins and drug related offences," ACP Mohamad Farouk said.

The suspect has been remanded until Feb 3.

"We are still tracking down his accomplices," ACP Mohamad Farouk added.
