KUCHING: Some 58 illegal immigrants have been rounded up in an operation launched by the Sarawak disaster management committee as part of its efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19.
State security and enforcement unit deputy director Datuk Mohammad Morshidi Mustapha said the detained illegals are all Indonesians and added that they are being held in a temporary quarantine centre under Section 15 (1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act.
