Two suspects who allegedly ran off with Grab driver's vehicle nabbed

SUBANG JAYA: Two suspects who allegedly ran off with a Grab driver’s vehicle have been apprehended.

“On Jan 8, the complainant, a Grab driver, had picked up two passengers to be brought to the Ampang Hospital. At a petrol station along the way, the driver stopped to reload his Touch‘n Go card.

“The passengers then drove off with the vehicle, ” Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Abd Khalid Othman said when contacted Monday (Jan 25).

The arrests were made on Jan 24 after a raid in Kuantan.

“The male and female suspects were caught in Jalan Sim Lim, Kuantan and the car that was stolen was recovered.

“The male suspect was found to have had seven prior criminal offences, ” he said
