Iskandar Puteri mayor Salehuddin appointed new Johor Finance Officer

JOHOR BARU: Former Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) mayor Datuk Salehuddin Hassan has been appointed as the new Johor Finance Officer.

A statement posted on Johor Ruler Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar's official Facebook page Monday (Jan 25) said the 57-year-old replaces Datuk Abdul Rahim Nin, who retired after serving in the position for more than three years.

Sultan Ibrahim officiated at the swearing-in ceremony and conferment of letter of appointment to Salehuddin at Balai Mengadap Istana Bukit Serene here on Monday.

Also present were Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad, Johor Royal Council president Datuk Abdul Rahim Ramli and State Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani.

Sallehuddin, who graduated in business management and banking, started his career as an assistant land administrator at the Segamat Land Office in 1992.

Besides holding the MBIP mayor post, he also served as the deputy state secretary (development) at the Johor Economic Planning Unit and YPJ Holdings chief executive officer.
