Penang firemen rescue girl, 3, after being trapped in a car

BALIK PULAU: A three-year-old girl was rescued by several firefighters after being trapped in a car.

When Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at the scene, it was found that a toddler was trapped in a car.

In a statement by the Fire and Rescue Department, it said firemen arrived at the scene along Jalan Baru in Balik Pulau around 3.45pm on Friday (Jan 22).

“The operations commander instructed his men to remove the trapped victim using rescue tools.

“The trapped victim was successfully rescued at 3.55pm and she is reported to be safe, ” it said.
