IPOH: The emergency and leftmost southbound lanes on the North South Expressway from Tapah and Bidor (from KM329.64 to KM331.79) will be temporarily closed to all vehicles for five days for maintenance works.
A PLUS Malaysia Bhd spokesman said the lanes will be closed from 9am on Friday (Jan 22) to 12.30pm on Tuesday (Jan 26).
“The right lane of the affected stretch is still passable for all vehicles.
“All highway customers heading south are strongly advised to plan their journey and check the latest traffic conditions, ” the spokesman said in a statement on Thursday (Jan 21).
“Customers passing through the designated area are also advised to follow all traffic signs and instructions from PLUS personnel, ” she added.
The spokesman also said the people could use the PLUS mobile app to plan their journey.
“They can check CCTV feeds or use the SOS button in the app to request for help from the PLUSRonda team, ” she said.
