PETALING JAYA: The roadblock at Jalan 5/46 in Gasing Indah, will be lifted for those who are involved in the SPM examinations.

"The conditional lifting of the roadblock is from Monday to Friday. The morning session is from 6.30am to 7.30am, and the afternoon session is from 2.30pm to 3.30pm," said Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal in a statement on Thursday (Jan 21).

Only one parent or guardian is allowed, with a uniformed student inside the vehicle.

Teachers must ensure their teaching passes are with them, whereas only on-duty school staff are allowed to bypass the road block.

School busses and vans must be fetching uniformed students and ensure that their authorisation letters from the schools are brought along.

ACP Nik reminded all that action can be taken on those not eligible found bypassing the roadblock.

"The police will inspect all cars going through the area," he said.
