Covid-19: Upko wants Sabah govt to continue enforcing full contact tracing

KOTA KINABALU: The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation has urged the Sabah government to continue enforcing full contact tracing of Covid-19 cases despite the federal-level decision to implement a reduced number of test samples for virus clusters.

Upko president Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau, who is also Tuaran MP, said the state government must assert its autonomy on this matter, especially since Sabah's geographical borders are porous, where foreigners could enter through "back alleys" and not be properly tested.
