IPOH: A senior citizen died after a car collided with a lorry carrying cement at Kampung Rusa in Changkat Jong near here on Monday (Jan 18).
A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the accident occurred at around 9am.
"Upon arriving at the scene, three victims were found trapped inside the car, including the senior citizen.
"The two other passengers from the car suffered major injuries and were rushed immediately to the hospital," he said, adding the firefighters had to use rescue tools to safely retrieve all three victims.
The spokesman added that the lorry driver was not harmed in the accident.
