Several roads to be closed in PJ from 12.01am Wednesday (Jan 13)

PETALING JAYA: Several road closures will be in place here effective 12.01am on Wednesday (Jan 13), says Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal (pic).

He said the roads would be closed in line with the movement control order (MCO).

"These roads will be closed from 12.01am Jan 13 to Jan 26.

"The roads that will be closed are Jalan 5/46 at Gasing Indah, Jalan Persiaran Mahogani at Kota Damansara, Jalan Persiaran Jati at Kota Damansara, and Jalan Persiaran Sungai Buloh at Kota Damansara.

"The PJU8/1 traffic light interchange at Damansara Perdana, Mutiara Damansara/Damansara Perdana exit along the LDP and the entrance to the Damansara Toll Plaza from Bayu Putri near the PKR Headquarters would also be closed," he said in a statement on Tuesday (Jan 12).

He urged the public to stay home and comply with the MCO to break the chain of Covid-19 infections.

"We hope that road users especially here in Petaling Jaya are patient and strong in handling the pandemic," he said.
