Five to face charges for assaulting, insulting policemen


ALOR GAJAH: Five people will face a number of charges on Tuesday (Jan 12) after Alor Gajah police nabbed them for allegedly assaulting two policemen and labelling the force as “stupid".

Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Abu said a 34-year-old policeman was kicked and hit several times when he attempted to break a fight between two groups of men at Jalan Besar in Machap Baru here at 10.10pm Friday(Jan 8).
