KUCHING: While a possible lockdown to curb the rising spread of Covid-19 will adversely impact the nation’s economy, the importance of saving lives should also be taken into consideration, says the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS).

ACCCIS secretary-general Jonathan Chai said another lockdown would be a “huge blow” to the ongoing economic recovery.
