KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has welcomed a proposal to include the Kaamatan and Gawai harvest festival celebrations of two Borneo states under the Cuti Cuti Malaysia calendar.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Jafry Ariffin said listing the two harvest festivals – Kaamatan in Sabah and Gawai in Sarawak – would certainly attract more tourists.
