Penang MCA says restaurant with communist-themed decorations not out to spread propaganda, posters only decorative


GEORGE TOWN: Penang MCA has defended the restaurant in Bukit Mertajam with communist-themed decorations after police seized wallpaper and cups bearing the face of Mao Tse-tung.

Penang MCA chairman Datuk Tan Teik Cheng (pic) said the party described the action against the restaurant as an over-reaction.
