As at 3pm Tuesday (Dec 29), the work was 54% complete.
"The repair work is estimated to be fully completed by 9pm tonight and water supply will be distributed to consumers’ premises upon the completion of the repair work," it said in a statement.
Air Selangor noted that the water supply recovery period for consumers will be different from one area to another depending on the location and distance of consumers’ premises.
Earlier in the day, Air Selangor announced the unscheduled water cut due to the repair work, which affected some 58 areas in Klang and Shah Alam as well as 72 areas in Petaling.
