Solid waste management enactment to be presented at state assembly early next year, says minister

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Solid Waste Management and Public Sanitisation Enactment is expected to be presented in the state assembly sitting early next year.

State Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih said the enactment, which is in the final stages of preparation, will empower local authorities (PBTs) in the enforcement, collection and disposal of solid waste.
