JOHOR BARU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has foiled an attempt to smuggle some 100kg of drugs worth RM5.1mil near the Tanjung Pelepas port here.
MMEA deputy operations director Rear Admiral (Maritime) Kamaruszaman Abu Hassan said a fibreglass fishing boat ferrying the drugs was believed to be heading towards Indonesia when it was detected by the MMEA at about 9.30pm on Monday (Dec 21).
