Kuala Krai folk forced to use boats

KUALA KRAI: About 1,000 residents near here have to rely on boats as the only mode of transport to their villages after the Kuala Pertang bridge was flooded due to continuous rain since Wednesday.

Resident Ahmad Che Nok, 72, said the affected villages were Kampung Kuala Pertang, Tanjung Kala, Pasir Jering and Tanjong Pagar.
