IPOH: Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah has granted an audience to PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.
He is expected to have the audience with the Sultan at Istana Kinta here today at 11am, Dewan Negara Perak (Advisory Council to the Ruler) member Datuk Seri Annuar Zaini said.
Hadi had on Dec 10 made the request for an audience to present to the Perak Ruler the latest political situation of the party.
Last Friday, three PAS assemblymen apologised to Sultan Nazrin for cancelling the audience with the Ruler on Dec 8.
Perak PAS commissioner Razman Zakaria said that an official letter would be sent to His Royal Highness.
It was reported that Razman called off the audience with Sultan Nazrin at Istana Kinta after he was instructed by the party leadership to do so during the Perak political crisis.
Razman and two other assemblymen, Mohd Akmal Kamarudin (Selama) and Mohd Khalil Yahya (Mohd Khalil Yahya), had been summoned to meet with the Sultan then for their views on state Umno chairman Datuk Saarani Mohamad as the mentri besar prior to the latter’s appointment.
