Over RM11mil allocated for Heart of Borneo conservation initiative for Sabah, S'wak under 12th M'sia Plan, says minister

KOTA KINABALU: An allocation of RM11.26mil has been set aside for the Heart of Borneo (HoB) conservation effort for Sabah and Sarawak under the 12th Malaysian Plan (RMK-12) in 2021.

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Datuk Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah (pic) said this is vital for the continuity of the HoB initiative for the sustainability of forest management and conservation of biodiversity in these two Borneon states, and Malaysia in general.
