Saarani clocks in for first day of work as Perak Mentri Besar

IPOH: Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad (pic) officially clocked in for his first day of work at his office at the state secretariat building here.

He arrived at the Mentri Besar’s office at 9am on Friday (Dec 11) where he was welcomed by state Secretary Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

After clocking in, the Kota Tampan assemblymen met with various department heads and employees.

He was sworn in as the 14th Mentri Besar of Perak by Sultan Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah on Thursday (Dec 10)

Saarani was appointed Mentri Besar after Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu stepped down on Dec 5 after a losing a vote of confidence in the state assembly the day before (Dec 4).
