KUCHING: Chinese government-aided primary schools in Sarawak which already have management boards should be exempted from the need to set up a parent-teacher association (PTA), says educationist group Sarawak Dong Zong.
Its chairman Datuk Vincent Lau said the Education Ministry had issued an instruction in August that all government and government-aided primary schools should set up PTA by March next year.
